The Engineering Project Team Lead will oversee and guide engineering projects from conception through execution. This role is essential for ensuring that product designs meet quality standards and project timelines while promoting collaboration within the team and across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering projects to ensure successful delivery within budget and timeline.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Mentor and support team members in their professional development and project tasks.
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering principles and quality standards.
  • Utilize CAD software, preferably Creo, for product design and modifications related to HVAC systems, chillers, and heat pumps.
  • Implement project management best practices to streamline processes and enhance team productivity.
  • Analyze project data to drive decision-making and improve project outcomes.
  • Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in product design and development.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, chillers, and heat pumps is preferred.
  • Experience with CAD software, specifically Creo.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and team members.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
