We are a shipyard in Boston that prides itself on both the quality of our work and our strong, unique company culture. We specialize in the repair of U.S. military vessels as well as commercial and cruise ships.

Position Overview
The Rigging Manager will oversee all rigging operations within the shipyard, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines and budgets. This role is crucial in coordinating rigging activities for U.S. military and commercial ship repair projects, while also effectively managing a skilled team of tradesmen.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the rigging operations team to ensure high-quality performance and compliance with safety standards.
Develop and implement rigging plans and strategies for ship repair projects.
Monitor and manage budgetary constraints associated with rigging operations.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Train and mentor team members in rigging techniques and safety protocols.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to rigging processes and equipment usage.

Qualifications

Proven experience in shipyard rigging and operations management.
Strong knowledge of ship repair processes.
Demonstrated team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.
Experience in budget management and cost control within rigging operations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
