Talent Acquisition Manager

Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead the recruitment strategy for our organization, ensuring we attract, hire, and retain top talent across various departments. This role involves developing and executing effective talent sourcing strategies to build a robust talent pipeline and enhance the overall candidate experience. Developing and executing talent acquisition strategies for the Retail and Corporate ends of our business are critical facets of this position. Prior Retail experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to meet organizational hiring needs within the Retail and Corporate functions of our business.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters, providing guidance on best practices and ensuring high performance.
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Taleo to streamline recruitment processes and maintain compliance.
  • Partner with department heads to understand hiring requirements and advise on best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Conduct candidate assessments to ensure alignment with organizational values and job competencies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and talent sourcing platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to continuously improve the hiring process and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as internal company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment, preferably in both retail and corporate environments.
  • Strong knowledge of ATS systems, particularly Taleo, and recruitment software.
  • Experience in developing and executing recruitment strategies and talent pipelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to assess and engage candidates effectively.
  • Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in recruitment.
  • Experience with data-driven recruiting and metrics-based performance monitoring.
