Established (70+ Years) Law Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Amusement, Sports, and Recreation Defense in Chicago, IL
An established law firm with over 70 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office. This is a unique opportunity to work on behalf of insurance companies defending clients in the amusement, sports, and recreation industries. The firm is looking for attorneys with 0-7 years of experience in civil litigation or personal injury defense.
Offer:
$110,000 - $160,000 contingent on experience
Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance

Qualifications:
0-7 years of experience in civil litigation or personal injury defense
Courtroom and deposition experience preferred (trial experience is a plus)
Licensed to practice in Illinois and in good standing
Juris Doctorate
Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of civil defense litigation for amusement parks, sports venues, recreational facilities, and related clients
Handling all aspects of litigation including research, pleadings, motions, discovery, and court appearances
Taking and defending depositions
Advising clients and insurance carriers on litigation strategy and risk exposure
Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation files
