Salary : $30.00 - $40.00 / hr + Overtime - based on experience

Location : Lowell, MA on-site

Requirements : HS Diploma or Equivalent, 3+ years experience with Machine Set-Up, Operation, & Programmer, MASTERCAM

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Programmer with expertise in milling to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision parts. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in production.

Key Responsibilities

Program CNC milling machines using MasterCAM and G-Code to create precise components.
Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring correct tooling and workpiece alignment.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and machining processes.
Perform quality control checks on finished parts to ensure adherence to specifications and tolerances.
Troubleshoot machining issues and implement solutions to maintain production efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce waste.

Qualifications

3+ years CNC Machinist Programmer with a focus on milling
Proficiency in MasterCAM and CNC programming.
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and practices.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with precision measurement tools and quality control procedures.
Knowledge of tooling, G-Code, and machine setup and operation.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
