Senior PLC Controls Engineer II

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior PLC Controls Engineer II to lead our control systems design and implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming and control systems, with a focus on Siemens PLC and HMI programming. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement control systems using Siemens PLC and HMI programming.
Program BPCS and SIS using SIMATIC STEP 7 Professional V19, and STEP 7 Safety Advanced V19
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC and control systems in a timely manner.
Conduct system integration and testing of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain documentation for control systems, including programming, configurations, and user manuals.
Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in control systems technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLC programming and control systems design.
Proficiency in Siemens PLC, HMI programming, and BPCS.
Experience with SCADA systems and industrial networking is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex technical issues.
Familiarity with instrumentation and process control concepts.
Knowledge of Allen-Bradley systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
