Position Overview
Exciting and rare opportunity to join a newer venture and be the first preconstruction hire to lead efforts in estimating and preconstruction for ground up, multifamily and commercial builds for an owner/developer. The team is fresh coming out of some of the top GCs and owner/developers in the US, looking to bring likeminded individuals to build something special, a place you're excited to work with less red tape. Most projects will be in the $50M+ range, woodframe, wraps, podiums, and commercial builds.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preconstruction team in project planning and budgeting efforts.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to determine project scope and requirements.
Oversee the development of detailed cost estimates for multifamily and commercial construction projects.
Review and analyze project proposals and bids to ensure competitiveness and feasibility.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with project planning and execution.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in preconstruction or estimating roles, with a focus on multifamily and commercial construction.
Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
