Grading Foreman

Position Overview
The Grading Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating grading operations on construction sites. This role involves managing a team of workers, ensuring that grading work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the specified standards. The Grading Foreman will also collaborate with project managers and superintendents to meet project deadlines and maintain quality control.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily grading operations on site.
Manage a team of grading workers, providing training and guidance as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to plan and execute grading schedules.
Monitor project progress and report on any issues or delays.
Inspect equipment and grading work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Grading Foreman or similar role in site development.
Strong knowledge of grading techniques and equipment.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy equipment.
