Journeyman Electrician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes. This role requires a strong understanding of wiring, circuitry, and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to read blueprints and work with various electrical components.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Perform troubleshooting on electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes during all work operations.
Conduct voltage testing and equipment repair as needed.
Bend conduit and install wiring according to specifications.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on various projects.
Utilize AutoCAD for electrical design and layout as required.

Qualifications

Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
Proficiency in wiring, circuitry, and troubleshooting.
Experience with PLCs and equipment repair is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and electrical design software is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
