Labor & Employment Associate

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Labor & Employment Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law and will be responsible for providing legal counsel on labor-related issues, assisting with contract negotiations, and representing clients in disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support on employment law matters
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and litigation related to labor disputes
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Advise on compliance with labor laws and employment regulations
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues and disputes
  • Draft legal documents, including briefs and motions
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on policy development and training
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • 2+ years of experience in labor and employment law
  • Strong understanding of employment law and regulations
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Proven experience in dispute resolution and litigation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse clients
