Labor & Employment Associate

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Labor & Employment Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law and will be responsible for providing legal counsel on labor-related issues, assisting with contract negotiations, and representing clients in disputes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and support on employment law matters
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts
Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and litigation related to labor disputes
Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations
Advise on compliance with labor laws and employment regulations
Assist in resolving employee relations issues and disputes
Draft legal documents, including briefs and motions
Collaborate with Human Resources on policy development and training

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
2+ years of experience in labor and employment law
Strong understanding of employment law and regulations
Excellent research and writing skills
Proven experience in dispute resolution and litigation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse clients
