Job Title : Data Center/Communications Technician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to manage and maintain the communication systems within our data center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and integrity of our structured cabling and low voltage systems while providing technical support for various data center operations. Multiple Roles Open with Traveling if willing to do so.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems and low voltage systems in the data center.
Monitor and manage communication equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Provide technical support for data center operations and assist with the integration of new systems.
Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of network configurations and changes.
Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
Assist in planning and executing upgrades and installations of new technologies in the data center.

Qualifications

Proven experience with troubleshooting techniques and structured cabling systems.
Familiarity with low voltage systems and components.
Basic knowledge of data center operations and networking equipment.
Experience with power systems and security systems is a plus.
Ability to work with audio-visual equipment and system monitoring tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent documentation and technical support skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications in data center management or related fields are a plus.
