Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to optimize our manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will utilize Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and implement innovative solutions in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes using Six Sigma methodologies
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and reduce waste
  • Design and update CAD drawings and layouts for production equipment and processes
  • Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and industry regulations
  • Assist in the planning and execution of new production lines and equipment installations
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Lead projects related to automation and robotics integration in manufacturing operations
  • Train and mentor production staff on process improvements and quality control measures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment
  • Strong knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in CAD software and design principles
  • Experience with quality control processes and standards
  • Familiarity with automation, robotics, and materials engineering concepts
  • Understanding of production planning and scheduling
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong project management abilities and statistical analysis proficiency
