Position Overview:

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in machine design, particularly in the metal fabrication and automation sectors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing robust, high-precision machinery, automation systems, or similar manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the mechanical design of heavy-duty metal fabrication machines from concept to production.
Develop 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and BOMs using tools like SolidWorks or Inventor.
Perform structural and thermal analysis (FEA) to ensure machine durability and performance.
Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical systems.
Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of new designs.
Continuously improve existing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineer field.
2+ years of experience in machine design
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
Strong understanding of materials, welding, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
Experience with FEA tools and design for manufacturability (DFM).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with CNC systems and automation (Helpful).
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
