Project Manager
Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The role requires effective communication with stakeholders, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage risks and resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning sessions and develop project scopes and objectives.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders and team members.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
- Utilize project management tools such as Microsoft Project and JIRA for tracking and documentation.
- Facilitate meetings and provide leadership to project teams.
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Structural Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in project management in the commercial construction industry
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in risk management and budgeting.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
- Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and manage change effectively.
Travel Requirements
The position is in Aurora, IL. Occasional travel required (within 150 miles of Aurora, IL).
