Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with GAAP, and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This role will involve managing the preparation of financial statements, conducting audits, and leading budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Conduct budget preparation and forecasting activities to facilitate strategic planning.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate financial management.
• Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage tax preparation and compliance to adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize ERP systems for efficient financial data management and reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve overall financial health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Strong experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
• Proficiency in auditing and tax preparation processes.
• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Experience with general ledger maintenance and financial reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare and present clear and accurate financial statements.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in financial reporting.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
