Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, we are a semiconductor startup that is developing a processor which combines the functionality of a CPU, GPU, and TPU into one to handle heavy AI/ML workloads!

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer who's versed in CPU Execution Units and has experience with Arithmetic Unit (ALU) logic design with emphasis on high speed processor pipeline designs.

The team primarily works from home, but candidates must reside in the greater bay area or be willing to relocate to meet onsite as needed.

What you need

Degree in related field
5+ years of design experience
Experience with Arithmetic Unit (ALU) logic design with emphasis on high speed processor pipeline designs
Understanding of processor pipeline designs
Logic design experience with state of the art deep submicron technologies specifically low power design techniques
Verilog / System Verilog / Synthesis / STA (Static timing analysis) / CDC / LINT
Knowledge of programming languages C, scripting (Perl / shell / python / awk) is a plus
