We are a 100+ year old commercial GC and developer in Fairfield County looking to add an experienced Estimator to our growing team. Key Responsibilities

Analyze project plans, specifications, and documentation to prepare accurate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop comprehensive and competitive bids.
Assess potential risks and research costs to ensure accurate and reliable estimates.
Maintain detailed records of estimates and project progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Provide ongoing support and updates to the project team throughout the construction process.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience.
Proven experience with estimating software (e.g., ProEst, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, etc).
Extensive experience in construction management and estimating.
Strong business acumen with the ability to assess financial implications of project decisions.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
