Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading geotechnical investigations, analyzing soil and rock mechanics, and providing expert recommendations for various civil engineering projects. This role requires a strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct geotechnical investigations and site assessments for civil engineering projects.
Analyze soil and rock mechanics to provide recommendations for foundation designs and earth retention systems.
Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
Review and supervise the work of junior engineers and geotechnical technicians.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in geotechnical engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation methods and analysis techniques.
Experience in preparing geotechnical reports and documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
