Position Overview
The Sr. Estimator will play a crucial role in our commercial construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and enhancing our bidding process. This position requires a detailed understanding of various construction methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers and clients to deliver quality results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine scope of work and required materials.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather pricing information and assess project feasibility.
Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
Maintain and update estimating databases and cost libraries to reflect current market conditions.
Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and value engineering options to clients.
Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project estimates and budgetary considerations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and cost factors.
Experience with estimating software and tools.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Familiarity with MEP, structural, and commercial interior construction practices.
