Position Overview
We are a large Indianapolis GC specializing in ground up Commercial Construction. The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. This includes ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Superintendent serves as the primary point of contact between the project team, clients, and subcontractors, facilitating effective communication and coordination throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of construction sites
Coordinate and supervise construction activities and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Monitor project progress and maintain schedules
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
Review and approve project plans and schedules
Resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction
Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality
Maintain project documentation and reports

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction
Strong knowledge of construction processes and regulations
Experience with Ground Up, Commercial, Municipal, Healthcare, School, and Office construction
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
