Superintendent
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Superintendent to oversee construction projects and ensure that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, managing subcontractors, and maintaining safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations on the construction site and supervise personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on project status.
- Conduct quality control inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage project budgets and schedules effectively to minimize costs and delays.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients and team members.
- Resolve any issues that arise on-site in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent with an electrical contracting background.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with construction scheduling and budgeting principles.
- Experience in safety compliance and quality control processes.
- Demonstrated team leadership and resource management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of contract negotiation and management.
