Tax Manager - Hybrid - 3 Days a week!!!

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tax Manager to join our team in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will oversee tax planning and compliance for various clients, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations while providing exceptional client management services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of tax planning and compliance for individual and corporate clients, including C-Corp and S-Corp entities.
  • Stay up-to-date on federal and state tax regulations, providing guidance and insight to clients regarding tax strategies.
  • Conduct tax research to address client inquiries and provide solutions for complex tax issues.
  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IRS regulations.
  • Support clients during audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
  • Utilize tax software such as Proconnect and CCH Axcess to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and accounting practices.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in tax research and planning methodologies.
  • Experience with tax software, including Proconnect and CCH Axcess.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
