Tax Senior Accountant

Position Overview
The Tax Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and preparing various tax returns for clients while ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to provide accurate tax planning and reporting services.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations.
Conduct tax research to identify tax savings opportunities and ensure compliance with IRS regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for clients.
Maintain thorough documentation supporting tax positions taken on returns.
Manage client relationships by addressing inquiries and providing high-quality service.
Collaborate with auditing teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP standards.
Utilize accounting software to enhance tax preparation efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct detailed reviews of financial statements to ensure tax implications are correctly reported.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA certification is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with tax research and planning is highly desirable.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
