Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced VDC/BIM Construction Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing BIM models, ensuring project specifications are met, and facilitating efficient construction design processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for various construction projects using Revit and other software tools.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is accurately represented in the models.
• Conduct clash detection and coordinate with different trades to resolve conflicts in design.
• Perform construction design tasks, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project specifications.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other design tools to support project needs and enhance delivery outcomes.
• Implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies to improve project efficiency and communication.
• Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling and resource allocation, to ensure timely project delivery.
• Provide training and support to junior staff on BIM processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in VDC/BIM design in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit.
• Strong understanding of construction design principles and practices.
• Experience with AutoCAD and other design tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with clash detection processes and software.
